Security management

The security access to the datas is directly managed by Bi-Board.. It relies on groups and user accounts defined in a directory LDAP, which is the companies standard protocol directory.
Specific groups in your LDAP can of course be created in case of particular requirements.
During the first connection, it is essential to place the group containing the account used  for the installation, in a Bi-board group including all the rights.

Maximum rights

To add a group , you have several ways to proceed:

1- By clicking on the blue binoculars , it will fully display the LDAP. This operation can take some minutes.

2- By entering the group name to add , and checking the option “Exact”. If it is enabled, the search will be faster.

Each group created in Bi-Board has access to its Bi-Board Web environment and this to its dashboards that are published.

Checking for instance ‘ dashboards’ will authorize the user to start Bi-Board studio with access to ‘ dashboard tab’ only.
